SOLID! Yet another G Love album I can listen to (almost) end-to-end. He's best when collaborating and this album has a nice dose of guests. A couple solos are a bit bland, but you gotta give a guy like G Love some room to do his thing. I like the blend of blues inspiration with rock and rap...the sound is an ideal background for reminiscing about chilling with your peeps, a rough ride on the love train, or a rant about the world. If you haven't tried G Love, not a bad place to start (but be sure to look up his originals too...parts of those are even stronger).

G Love & the Special Sauce have been making the perfect hang out music for over a decade now and they're latest album Lemonade is no different.

If you've never heard of them I recommend you start with the cult classic, Cold Beverages <go girl work the cold one>.

If you start with the modern day stuff then you'll be happy to know they work closely with Jack Johnson and he even produced this latest album
