Oh, yes..this Puerto Rican rum hits the spot. I stumbled ( no pun intended) upon this product when I was offered a sip at my local wine store.

It is smooth, yummy, and leaves you feeling tingly. Quite a few selections in the brand are kosher. I recommend the Cristal and Anejo. Superb!

Definetly the best rum ive ever had!
The clear version pictured here is good for mixing because of its smoothness. Way better than the harshness of Bacardi.
The anejo is a great aged rum best had on the rocks or neat, though real fans of rum use it for Cuba Libres (which I strongly recommend to try)
The three varieties (lime, passion fruit, coconut) of flavored rums they produce are also very good for mixing with juices.
Any choice you make you really cant go wrong with DonQ. The only real problem is how rare it is to find in the US, but if you check enough liquor stores (especially near hispanic neighborhoods) you can find them in most major cities.
