Earth Baby Compostable Diaper Service
While I was preggers with little dude, we decided that we want to go with cloth diapers. Good for the earth, and soft for his tushie. Well once I had him reality set in. The hubs loved cloth diapers, me on the other hand could barely get them on the lil guy at 2:00 a.m. when I was half asleep. First you have to fold the diaper, then you have to use the little clippies to get it on just right. Then after all that you have to put the plastic pants over the top. The poor lil guy always looked like he had a huge load in his pants. I very soon discovered Earth Baby Compostable Diaper service! Let me tell you if you are local to the SF Bay Area, this service is amazing! You use Nature Babycare Compostable diapers, which you can purchase from Earth Baby or elsewhere. They also make compostable wipes. You purchase compostable bags for the diaper pale, then the diapers and wipes both go into the pale. Earth Baby comes 1x per week and picks up the bag. For $27.00 a month for the service (note this fee is just for the service, you still need to purchase diapers and wipes), I feel like I am doing something great for the environment. They have a treatment plant so I know they are getting composted properly. They also have amazing customer service. If you are looking for a good alternative to cloth diapering, look no further!
