I'd had Softsoap on my sink as an "after the fact" hand wash in my bathroom for months. I haven't had any complaints. (Maybe my guests haven't been washing their hands much.) However, when I have used it, I come away with the skin on my hands feeling not so good. I would be more specific, but I can't quite find the appropriate word to describe the unpleasantness. Not only that, but I wanted something that was either antiseptic or anti-bacterial. A couple of weeks ago, I read a recommendation on ThisNext for Tea Tree Oil Hand Wash from the Body Shop. I knew Tea Tree Oil to be a natural antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal. This hand wash also contains grapefruit seed extract, which is a natural deodorizer, skin cleanser, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and anti-fungal. It also contains honey for skin conditioning. All I know is that it leaves your hands feeling conditioned and clean. I'm tossing the Softsoap and writing a review to warn others. ;-) (via thebodyshop-usa.com)
