This 16-inch blade is impressive to look at, but it's also very useful if you do a lot of baking (or serving) cakes. The sheet cake knife is made of hardened steel and has a sharp, serrated blade that will cleanly and easily cut through even the most delicate cakes (genoises, chiffons, etc.). It is ideal for halving cakes to create layers for frosting, but can be used for serving, as well.
