Remember The Milk

Quick and easy. I add this to my customised Google homepage and can see items quickly. Learnt keyboard shortcuts and it is now so easy. Think I like the most is to do the following:
* Software allows you to send email to add items to ToDo list
* Setup a template email and assigned a shortcut key to the template file (Outlook template file). This includes all the elements I need, like:
Task:
Priority:
Due:
Repeat:
Estimate:
Tags:
Location:
URL:
List:

I then simply delete the ones I do not need and fill in the ones I do. Very quick. GTD rule - 2 minutes. Takes 30 seconds to send an item to my ToDo list this way so when I think of something I use shortcut key and fill it in and press Send. Done. Its GREAT!

I'm an author and a mom of four. Before I found Remember the Milk (a free online organizer that allows you to have as many to do lists as you want), my to do list system consisted of a million post-it-notes and notes on napkins stuffed in my purse, stuck to my laptop, and missing in action in my life.

Now I can email tasks to myself as I think of them and they land in one place -- in Remember the Milk. I can even email tasks on to my husband (let me tell you he lives for those emails from me) or to my office assistant (ditto).

This is the coolest online organizer ever, and it can quickly be configured to work with David Allen's Getting Things Done system if, like me, you're a GTD devote.

I've written about Remember the Milk (http://www.rmilk.com for short) in magazine columns and on blogs galore and I'm not done spreading the word yet.

I love being organized. This site really helps me to keep track of all of my ToDos, both personal and professional. I like that it is web based so I can access it anywhere. I especially love I can access it in my Google Calendar (and in Netvibes too).

This site is SO handy! You can email tasks to your Remember the Milk account, which makes adding new tasks really easy. There are tons of keyboard shortcuts you can use too.

You can create multiple lists (work, school, home, etc.) for various groups of tasks. In addition to the regular task features (due date & time, repeat function, notes, etc.), Remember the Milk has spaces for a url (so you can link to related websites), contacts (you can assign tasks to contacts that are also on Remember the Milk), tags (to help sort your tasks), and locations (there's even a handy map feature).

I use this website every single day for nearly all my to do's, personal and professional. I've got it linked into my Google homepage (along with my Outlook calendar and email) so I can manage my tasks from one page.
