I admit it. I have watched "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" again just to sneak a peek at Robert Pattinson in his pre-Twilight days. Still love you, Harry. And you have clearly earned a special place on everyone's bookshelf. This set, the full 7 volumes, also happens to be a mighty fine reproduction of Harry's traveling trunk. Gift-able and collectible.

Before you do anything else, you should read ALL of the books. Book 3 is my favorite so at least read that one. (via amazon.com)

This is a great gift for anyone who any or all of the following:
a) Loves to read
b) Has never read Harry Potter or only has the paperback versions
c) Has no pretensions regarding their reading list
I read probably 10-15 books each week (long commute and a minimal requirement for sleep) spanning almost every genre of fiction and non-fiction. Harry Potter is what I recommend to everyone who doesn't prefer to read but wants to start. The series is imaginative, funny, smart and yet readable. Parents all over the world should be sending JK Rowling thank you cards -- her Harry Potter series made reading cool.

Everyone who knows me knows that I HEART Harry Potter..a lot...I've read all the books...but I wouldn't mind getting this set for Christmas for my favourite books collection...
Gift this to any of your bookworm-friends and be a good gifter...coz I can count the number of my friends who don't like Harry Potter in one hand -yes, with only five fingers and I can still have a couple fingers unused- ..now, that's saying something!

This is the premier package for all Harry Potter fans. The reason why I recommend this is simply the fact that books live on forever and with a set like this, it can be handed down to another generation of readers. What better set is Harry Potter?
