I would have a really hard time coming up with the perfect sheet set for this baby, but I already know the set of drawers! [Hint: scroll down.] Added to the beauty of the original design, it wouldn't be hard to string curtains on this bed, either (I am a great afficionado of makeshift curtains made from sari cloth.) In the end, it comes down to an issue of personal style, and I'd kind of like to see that bird's nest be optional, but given the choice between this and a fussy canopy? Come on.

As an older person I still dream about it, but I'm aware of the slightly less than romantic notion of the real thing. This would be perfect for me. I'd have to buy a new house to put it in, but it would be totally worth it.

Beautiful bed frame. I can imagine this for a child's room. The room painted with trees and birds and woodland creatures... or even better scenes from,"Where the Wild Things Are". A little girl could drape fabrics on the branches and make her own wonderland under the trees. Lovely. Adults can have the same whimsical feel and keep it more sophisticated with framed pictures of stark fall trees, or the changing of the seasons done in black and whites. Add to that some warm or earthy neutral tones for the linens and window treatments and you have a room that feels grounded without feeling like you are camping out.

My bed is my sanctuary. I adorn it with fine linens and everything soft and cushy. I love fur pillows filled with down, featherbeds, high thread count, combed cotton sheets, linen sheets, and a cotton totally apart..sea island cotton. This bed is breathtaking and who would not smile waking up to find herself nestled into something so sweet and so magical! If I were the queen, I would knight Shawn Lovell for making something so incredibly wonderful!

This is great for outdoorsy ppl. Cant sleep outside (too afraid, too dangerous, no place to sleep) well then this is the next best thing. You have the comfort of a warm, fluffy bed with the satisfaction of it seeming like your sleeping under the trees. You might as well go all out make stars on the cieling, get the forest sounds cd, I think you kno wat I mean.I personally would be worried about a bird tryin to nest on my canopy but its stil rather beautiful.

My granddaughter was Snow White for Halloween, she would love this bed because it reminds her of the woods and she like to camp out and have pic- nicks there, her mother is very ill and needs a heart transplant , Kirstyn is 31/2 and her mom just turned 20 in June of 09. I think they could bond more if they could do some of the things together , Mom can't be around a lot of people now, she is at home on life support, and Kirstyn has never had her own bed. They love to play together.
