  My sister and I shared a Barbie camper when we were growing up, acting out excursions and adventures and - occasionally - spectacular crashes. The fun of this van, however, will be as much in the construction as in the subsequent play. Although, once you have this VW replica fully assembled, you will probably be a little more gentle with it than my sister and I were with Barbie's wild ride. N.B.: LEGO recommends this set for ages 16 and up, so you may want to reserve this gift for tweens, teens and the big kids.
