And then they will play them on your very own web-based station. Which means you can play it from wherever you and your computer happen to be. Although currently free, a subscription version with more bells and whistles is also available for about $36 per year.

Music without commercials or hassles. It thinks for me. I don't have to sort through song lists. If I don't like a song it's just click away from vanquishing.

I've been using Pandora for months now, and it's fantastic. You can add music lists, type your favorite band or artist and it will generate a radio for you. It's really nifty, especially when you can't carry a walkman or a mp3 player or, for the most sophisticated, an iPod around. It's very useful and great.
