funky, spacey, fun debut album from Santogold. It's what I will be listening to all summer long.

A boisterous, ass shaking indie pop/ dance album by Santigold, formerly known as Santogold. This Brooklyn phenom has worked with artists as varied as Jay-Z, Lil' Wayne, Lykke Li and David Byrne. If you like Gwen Stefani, E.S.G. or M.I.A, you won't be disappointed. I promise.

So I was really confused at first, but then learned Santogold changed her name to Santigold this past February of 2009. Now it makes sense. But anyways, this album is one I can listen to completely through and enjoy the entire time. Each song is nothing like the last, and although some people compare her to M.I.A., I think her sound is far softer and worldly than M.I.A.'s.

Love this CD. Another one that I listen to until the CD stop working last summer (good thing I have it on my iPod too.) Creator is my favorite track on this CD, but they are all pretty darn good.

very innovated, fresh sounds with mix of rock & electronica w/ a hint of reggae.

Santogold, an indie rock, dub, electronic musician, debuted her self titled album earlier this year featuring songs such as "L.E.S. Artistes" (played at Les Deux) and "You'll Find a Way."
She also collaborated with Julian Casablancas (the Strokes) and Pharrell (N.E.R.D.) on "My Drive Thru" to promote Converse's centennial celebration.
