Snapped one of these up today for $40 on sale at Amazon- woot! I actually DON'T want a big gaming system for my kiddo, so this stand alone fits the bill perfectly. Sure, there's only 12 songs but that's enough of a challenge for now. Yes, I'll get sick of them, but my daughter won't. I've watched a few videos and it seems to work well- the reviews so far are all positive. I have high hopes that this will help burn off the winter blahs.
