The Solio charger is so totally cool: the ultimate eco-road-warrior tool. I love being able to charge devices using the sun: seems so green/earth-friendly and adventurous. I am def bringing a Solio w/me on my next extended adventure so I can have my ipod anywhere in the world and not worry about power outlets

This is going straight onto my wish list... a bit on the pricey side but who ever said saving a planet comes cheap anyway? Based on all the positive recommends here this looks like a no-brainer. I've been thinking about a solar charger for awhile now but didn't have a clue as to what was a good one.... guess I do now! Just double-check to make sure there's a tip for your brand of phone... looks like my LG will work.

When I first saw this I wasn't in a position to spend frivolously but then I saw that it was on the list of one of my credit card rewards lists, so I got it.

I tend to forget to charge my cell phone until we've just gone beyond the moment when there'd be time to do so. With this baby charged up (when I do think of it) I can just take it, the phone and the cord and charge on the way...

I saw this in a convenience store and really wanted to get it. My well-meaning friend deterred me from buying things "I don't need" impulsively. In my book, if you can never forget something and really wish you had, even months later, then by all means get it!
