We've all heard the old what if...what if you were stranded on a deserted island and could only take one book, one cd, one movie. Well ignoring the obvious problem of electricity or lack of, my choice for one movie would almost certainly be this one. I saw it as a young lad when it first came out (OMG was it really that long ago? I was so young...so beautiful!) and have never been the same since. Suspiria is Dario Argento's masterpiece. He was never so good before and has never been better since (did that sentence make sense?). His use of what I call "nightmare logic" has influenced everything I have made ever since.
