I have several different Kong toys for my dog and have also used the Kong scratching toy for my cat.

I am most enamored of the dog toys because they are made of natural rubber and are very tough. My Golden Retriever can very easily destroy lesser chew toys in a matter of minutes but the Kongs have survived for years. Also, they are designed so that they can be filled with treats to give your dog a puzzle as well as just a good chew. (via amazon.com)

my dogs LOVE these things! we put peanut butter in them. we must have about 8 of them now. they are the longest lasting toys my dogs have.

we also bought the kong dispenser called "doggie day care in a box". it has a timer on it, so that it dispenses the kongs at regular intervals while you are away from home.
