I used to love my Swiffer, even though I knew it was wrong.
There's no way that throwing away all of those little sheets could be a good idea, and don't even get me started on the Swiffer Wet Jet and its extra chemicals.
Then I saw the OMOP. OMG! Microfiber cloths I can wash and reuse. Non-toxic, biodegradable cleansers. COMPOSTABLE sweeping cloths. Perfetto!

I have steered clear of swiffers and similar quick floor cleaners because they are such waste machines, but I get the conveniece lure. Don't be fooled - those innocent looking wipes that pile up after a wipeapsode are actually petroleum-based landfill cloggers. Enough sheets get tossed each year to fill nine thousand big rigs and those toxic little sheets won't get trucked to some magical place in the sky. Method has put an end to this madness by offering a cleaner option. Like all Method products, the Omop is a high design, low impact alternative to the big brands.
