It may not be as hard as some of their other releases, but this may be my favorite White Stripes release. The diversity in the songs is very cool. Rock, country, blues, Celtic and Mariachi all on the same cd. Plus, you can't beat Jack White covering a Patti Page song. My daughter loves the song "Rag & Bone", which is essentially about the joys of garage sales. The White Stripes are just badass, so you can't go wrong with anything they put out.

Mark your calendars for 6/19 thats when Icky Thump will be on sale. I have heard the first single and its pretty darn cool.

My favourite album by The White Stripes, though I know many who'll disagree. It's just a bit different and more quirky, very easy to listen to and enjoy.

Best Alternative Album of they year went to The White Stripes for Icky Thump. I'm still not sure if this duo is comprised of a brother and sister or ex-spouses, but I did see them at Coachella a few years ago and they were quite fantastic.

I have this on Vinyl and CD...their albums promise great music and always some amazing guitar thanks to Jack. Although this isn't one of their best in my opinion it's good and different from all their other stuff. They don't want to bore us with the same old same old but I do wish this album had some harder stuff like dejistil...you know what I mean?
