I'm sure most of you have the download, yeah I got mine for free too--but, I'm still going to buy the hard copy, I have a thing for packaging that lives out side of a screen.

Liking, listening to or recommending this album goes without saying. Perhaps that's why I never put it on here, I don't know. However, it's quickly becoming one of my favorite Radiohead albums.

Radiohead happens to be my favorite band, but it still took me a long time wrap my tentacles around "In Rainbows". I shouldn't be surprised. That happened with a couple of their other albums, too. But today, I turned on my computer, played it and fell in love. Roughly over a year after I first downloaded it. My mind defies explanation...

Tom Yorke's falsetto hasn't changed much. The yearning is still there. Especially on tracks like "Nude" and "15 Steps". Lyrics resonate for me again like "How come I end up where I started, How come I end up where I went wrong..." So true, so true. Alien synthesizers echo, kids shout from samples --- marvelous. Man, I love this band.

radiohead is one of the biggest bands around and for good reason. on top of amazing music their last tour (which i was lucky enough to see!!!!) ran the fleet on bio-diesel, didn't travel by air and didn't allow plastic. this is totally green and its a great gift idea for any music lover!

Loving this cd. It's so pleasant to listen to. I can't quite put my finger on what I love about it because there's so much to love and so much variety.

Also, while on tour they are not allowing any plastic, running their fleet on bio-diesel, and not allowing air travel. That's a green band if any.

Radiohead's long awaited 7th album is one of my favorite of all time. This is one you can play from start to finish without the need to fast forward. Proponents and critics will say what they want about the controversial way in which Radiohead chose to release the record (to the whole world at the same time via internet download, for whatever price you wanted to pay.), but that has nothing to do with the content here...

Thom York's voice has never sounded so beautiful, the lyrics never so seductive, the melodies so sweeping, and the rhythm so fluid... When he sings in falsetto in "Nude" you feel the light and the dark. And when he pleads, "I'm an animal trapped in your hot car." it's palpable. "House of Cards" opening line, "I don't want to be your friend, I just want to be your lover." says it all...

This is an amazing album that is easy to listen to every single day. It is so artistic and thought provoking.
