A bored small-town girl, Bonnie Parker and a small-time bank robber, Clyde Barrow leave in their wake a string of violent robberies and newspaper headlines that catch the imagination of the Depression-struck Mid-West in this take on the legendary crime spree of these archetypal lovers on the run.
This movie released in 1967 to controversy and criticism, is now considered a classic film responsible for a significant shift in cinematic direction in the late '60s, "Bonnie and Clyde" is one of those rare films in which every facet combines to create something truly extraordinary. Brilliant acting by Warren Beatty as Clyde Barrow and Faye Dunaway as 'Bonnie Parker and let's not forget the inimitable Gene Wilder as 'Eugene Grizzard.'
