I discovered this car as part of a Internet browsing session dubbed "car porn." It's sexy onscreen, but I have to tell you when I saw it in person driving down Lincoln I went BANANAS. B-A-N-A-N-A-S and I don't even like cars THAT much... it's a HOT car.

Just my car, no big deal. But seriously, I've seen R8s parked in red zones in LA and get away with it. That says something. Plus, it's really fun to design your own R8 on the Audi website, not like that's what I do with my spare time or anything...

This car actually makes me drool further aggravated by the fact that you can see the engine in the rear. You've seen it on Iron Man and in futuristic concept form on I, Robot. It is the sports car of heroes.

Sure enough, this is going to be the best way to spend $100k this Fall. Or save $40k and get a back seat (Audi's RS4 has the same engine and similar drivetrain). (via Three)
