For $15,000, you can be a crew member on one leg of the Earthrace in March to break the world record for circumnavigating the globe.
The Earthrace boat looks like a spacecraft. It cuts through the water with its efficient hull design at 45 knots. The best part is that it runs entirely on biodiesel. MMM. French fries :)

Not just another pretty face, the Earthrace Boat is fast enough to try to break the world record for circumnavigating the globe. Pretty and fast sound good, huh? Guess what? It's also environmentally friendly. Yes sirree. This baby runs entirely on biodiesel fuel. (via Business Week)
