Vivienne Westwood's designs have had a huge impact on gothic & lolita style in Japan. Her rocking horse ballet shoes (designed by Patrick Cox) dumped Naomi Campbell on her butt in 1994 and have since spawned scads of knock-offs and re-interpretations like this adorable Alice in Wonderland version. Bona fide Westwood versions can be found through auction sites, but their high fashion cache in Japan often pushes prices into the $600-$800 range.
