It happens all the time. Designers reinvent each others designs. One designer tries umpire waist-lines for the first time in about a century, and suddenly every other designer has the same (ill-conceived) designs in mind. Such is the case for Ray-Ban's Wayfarer glasses. Everyone is trying their hand at reinventing these iconic glasses. This is Marc Jacob's incarnation of the design. Gold and stylish, and frankly, a much better use of imagination than the umpire waist dress.
