I was already watching Shinchan before it hit the USA and Cartoon Networks Adult Swim by storm. It's pretty funny already with the subtitles BUT watching it dubbed in English takes this cartoon to another level. The English dubbing is done wonderfully but I wouldn't have the little ones watching this. The humor is like Southpark but in Japanese, with a lot of bathroom jokes, and a lots of perverted adult humor. I'm just waiting for the movies to be dubbed in English! :)
