I am an extemely broke design buff, so instead of collecting furniture, I collect PICTURES of furniture. The picture of the room features a bed far more expensive than the Pottery Barn version, which is actually on sale right now. Maybe, just maybe, I really can get what I want.

I had a canopy bed when I was a little girl, so for me they have always seemed very Ethan Allen, Laura Ashley-ish.
In other words, I thought canopies where girlish and fussy.
Unitl I saw this beautiful campaign bed from PB Teen. I know this is a site for teenagers, but this bed is far from young at heart. Its is elegant, sophisticated and grown-up.
I want one, but it won't fit in my city apartment. <sigh>
