  Another Stephen King adaptation. In this psychological thriller, Depp plays a divorced writer who secludes himself in a cabin in the woods so he can focus on his next book. A menacing stranger (John Turturro) enters his life claiming Depp stole his idea. Well, madness and murder ensue as well as a pretty good plot twist.

  Yet another superbly awesome performance from John Depp. I'm actually becoming increasingly convinced that he simply can't be in a bad film. Per this one, it's about a writer who locks himself in a cabin after a breakup and becomes stocked by the worst of influences. It sounds a lot worse than it is.
