Every thing seems to be getting smaller: celebrities, cellphones, mp3s, the reccommended serving size of peanuts... Why? Probably because some insane industrial designer guy bent on ruining his employer somewhere decided that small was the way to go. So mp3s are now the size of large cufflinks, and webcams are built right into your computer. But I, for one, miss the bygone days of when cameras needed to be lifted by two people, and they were just inventing those moving picture shows (yes, a lot of stuff happened in the 90s). OR at least the style of it. I love the design of old style cameras. They are just classic, and reinventing them as a webcam is totally the bee's knees. Plugging one of these into one of today's tiny computers might clash in a less than timeless fashion, but this interesting burst of vintage originality is certainly the cat's pajamas. As for the slang, I think the, er, 90s can keep that. Camera is 1.3 megapixels, has a glass lens, and is not compatible with Mac Computers.

I love the way that this webcam goes super-retro instead of trying (and failing) to look space-age like most webcams do.
