I have a love affair with anything Japanese-inspired. I also love cool paper, so this necklace is a dead ringer for me. Vintage washi paper is embedded in a lovely stainless-steel ring. A nice mix of vintage and modern.

I don't like to recommend items that I have not used or don't own, but I have have had my eye on varying iterations of these washi paper necklaces available at ShanaLogic.com for quite a while. I used to want one of the square ones, but these round ones have really caught my eye. They have a really classic line which would probably be okay even at my conservative job. (via Shana Logic)
