They say this is geeky. Real though, I'm just interested in it because it looks like the clock in the hatch on Lost. So Lost fans, this ones for you.

I have a problem. I am addicted to time keepers. Clocks, watches; I always want more of them. Which is kinda interesting as I'm late for everything.

I've been eyeing this clock for awhile but am just about to get it. It's a flip clock! With flipping seconds! I imagine it would probably keep you up at night but it looks very cool, especially since the mechanism is clearly visible to watch. It has an alarm and comes on a sleek aluminum base. Uses 4 C batteries and costs $49.

UPDATE: Got it! Ok, I'll come out with the cons first. It's not really a design piece. Not cool. Chunky plastic base and 2 large metal protrusions on the side. Not as cool as other flip clocks out there.

But...it's a flip clock with seconds, and the ONLY one of that kind I can find. Seconds are ridiculously cool, as you see a slowly rotating wheel of cards and a flip each second! Kinda makes up for the not amazing (but by no means horrifying) design.

The seconds are remarkably quite - if you can sleep with a regular tick-tock clock in your bedroom, you can surely sleep with this.

The only REAL con, is that the seconds are for display only. They work perfectly, but are not in sync with the minutes. So your minutes will change at, say , 34 or 58 seconds. Other than that? Pretty awesome buy.

A fun clock that exposes the age-old flip clock. Watch as the second dial slowly turns causing the numbers to change, and after 60 of those the minutes change, and so on. There's a video you can watch to get an idea. Super cool.
