The Bank Job is one of the better Jason Statham movies. Based on a true story, its about a group of criminals that's commissioned by the British version of the C.I.A. to break into a bank and retrieve incriminating photos of a royal family member from a lock box. How they broke into the bank is pretty wild considering that this was actually done.

... expect little from this one and you'll be happily saisfied. It's a , relatively predictable, but kind-of fun heist film. Plus, i think it might be based on a true story, but I can't say for sure.

The Bank Job is a fascinating thriller, especially considering that it's based on a true story. Apparently, in the 1970's, MI5 (the UK's FBI) hired a group of criminals - through back channels - to commit a daring bank raid to retrieve incriminating photos of the royal family.

It features the inimitable Jason Statham, and provides a fascinating story involving intelligence, the crown, radical movements and some of London's infamous underground characters.
