Fabulous looking and good for the planet.

The Enertia bike is almost here-- the first models are due to ship this summer/fall (08). The real pull here is emission reduction- while a bike is more fuel efficient a motorcycle can produce 15x the pollution per mile than an average car. This bike takes 3 hours to charge with a range of 45 miles.

Just right - the Enertia's proportions are narrow to ensure both novice and expert riders feel comfortable and in control. The instrument cluster keeps all relevant information front and center while the USB port allows the rider to download data and tailor the riding experience to their personal usage. The bike's range is 45 mi (significantly exceeding the daily commute for the average citizen of 29 mi) with a full battery re-charge time of 3 hours.

"For those looking to make a lifestyle change, or for a cool "green" machine to get around town on, few options exist that can compete on so many levels."
