I know most guys don't like vests and those who do probably reserve them for very formal events. I guess I am different because I think the 3 piece suit is a classic look and vests worn without a jacket also look great, making you stand out among the crowd. I have always liked J Crew among the casual mall stores and I find this vest in particular very appealing and at a good price point.

A vest is a pretty bold move when worn without a matching jacket and pant. This is a good time for it, though, as tailoring and formal flourishes in menswear are at a hot point. I can also see it working with denim. I salute the effort.
