Stanley Booth was part of the Rolling Stones inner circle and was along for the 1969 US tour which included the infamous concert at Altamont Speedway. This book has a reputation as being the ultimate Rolling Stone read. I'm in the middle of reading Mick and Keith by Chris Salewicz (which is really good). Once I finish that I'm reading this book. From all I've heard Stanley Booth also has an amazing writing style. I'm really looking forward to reading this.
