This is such a great book. It's concise, informative, and accurate. Dr. Bowden's book is completely engaging. I think part of what really helped draw me in was the way each food had it's own page, with a picture and description of why it's healthy. I couldn't put it down. If you're trying to make a positive change in your life, or are just curious about nutrition, this is a great read. The book is broken down into a few sections- fruit, vegetables, meat & poultry, dairy, novelty foods, beverages, grains, nuts & seeds, oils & spices.. and so on. Just make the foods listed in this book your grocery store shopping list and you should be set!
