I've never been a musician, but I've always wanted to be! I'm the kid who would sit down at someone else's piano and make horrible, horrible noises that would send the family cat screeching and running for cover. In fact, the closest I've come to making music, sweet music, is an unfortunate incident involving drunken karaoke and a sing-along with Kelly Clarkson in a casino gift shop which was, unfortunately, witnessed.

That said, I'm pinning my hopes on Wii Music. Maybe with an all-ages instruction video game, I can graduate to the level of proficiency wherein I'll be able to at least plunk out the plaintive notes of chopsticks instead of composing an original piece reminiscent of a piano being tossed down a mountainside. ;)
