This 1964 priceless jewel from France directed by Jacques Demy has stood the test of time. A story of love and loss, it stars a young Catherine Deneuve who is absolutely stunning. The film is a musical bursting with vibrant colors which acts a seperate character to the film. The colors jump off the screen. A good rainy day film. Enjoy. (via www.netflix.com)
