    Perfect for the Holidays. This Beautiful vintage sterling silver sphere locket opens like an accordion and can hold six small pictures. The sphere has an engraving on one side "MDM" Two wings are holding the locket together.On the back of one of the wings the piece is marked "STERLING" "MEXICO" "925" "HVC" with an Eagle stamp. The Eagle stamp is marked with the number one. The eagle stamp is a mark used on old mexico sterling silver pieces (circa 1950s- 1960s) and the number 1 represents the place in which the piece was made ( Mexico City). The piece comes with its old original sterling silver chain. The chain is long and ends with a hook and eye clasp. On the hook is a marking too but it is not clear. Measurements: The ball pendant is 1"x1" The chain is 25" in length. The piece is in excellent vintage condition.
