Adobe CS is by far my favorite multimedia editing suite. Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign for graphics and print, then GoLive for web. Yeah, it takes a little time to get familiar with the software, but once a person does, the creativity and imagination start to flow.

from the design of my logo, to the layout of press kits, to the development of my website, the adobe creative suite is one of the most essential and complete packages allowing me to do so much of the establishment of my company on my own. i learn more and more about this invaluable package every day. without it, i wouldn't be where i am today.

An industry standard design software package that is unmatched. I can't think of using anything else, especially now that Adobe acquired Macromedia Dreamweaver and Flash. Nothing beats Adobe Photoshop for digital photo editing and design, nothing compares to Adobe Illustrator for vector illustrations, and nothing comes close to the ease of InDesign when designing layouts. Personally, I find all of Adobe's products intuitive and easy-to-use, and there's no end to the amount of reference books, magazines and online tutorials.

This edition has many new extras and great fixes on past annoyances. Case in point--Photoshop now lets you multi-select layers by holding ctrl. Major time and clicker-finger saver! Believe it or not, Photoshop and Illustrator are more powerful than before. The first single-increment Adobe upgrade I found worth the money.

I don't use all the bits of this, but the ones I do use are essential. Photoshop is by far the best photo/graphic design app on the market today. I literally couldn't have done my job for the last 10 years without this software. In Design has everything you could possibly think of to create everything from tri-folds to complete books. It lets you create foot notes, end notes, chapter notes, glossaries, appendices, Tables of Contents and indices. You can set up repeating functions, special forms of word wrap and so much more. Unlike most software packages, this Suite of programs really earns it's keep.

I love Photoshop... it's so easy to use (once you get the hang of it) and works brilliantly. Unfortunately it isn't quite affordable.
