It's the best overview of what's happening in the world every week. It has a slightly conservative slant, but it freely admits that in its writing, which can be quite refreshing. And it spans the entire globe, keeping you well-informed.

My favorite weekly reading. Sober, insightful analysis of a wide range of current topics. A nice quality is its ability to break out of the standard American discourse, due to its British origins.

Quality analysis of world politics and economies. Objective, frank, well-researched and often insightful. Plus - its covers are often a witty commentary in itself.

The Economist is a must read. Great, in-depth analysis from across the pond. I always love reading the "Lexington" columns. Also do great tech and general trend coverage. I do wish that they had more big pictures, however ;-) (via postzavtra)

The Economist has the best worldwide coverage of both business and politics. I haven't found another magazine or newspaper that's more on top of events without suffering from hype.

The only thing smarter than reading this is to read it entirely online - by subscribing to their Web only edition.
