Designed and manufactured in Chicago, the Cardboard Christmas Tree stands 3 feet tall and is formed by 2 interlocking tree shapes and a base. The tree, ornaments and packaging are all made from recycled cardboard and are completely recyclable.

In developing the The Cardboard Christmas Tree we tried to follow sustainable design principles by using localized manufacture and recycled cardboard in the product and packaging. We are also donating part of the profits to the Arbor Day Foundation's reforestation program.

My business partner, Dan Greene, and I formed Cloud Gate Design LLC to bring the Cardboard Christmas Tree to market. Two years later we are still a two person company working to develop sustainable product alternatives.
