American Apparel

 American Apparel - Photo

They have amazingly comfortable and cute tank-tops, sweats and lounge wear…simple lines, classic styles. I used their shirts for my branded clothes (with my album logo) and the fact that they are a sweat-shop-free manufacturer, makes the stuff that much cuter!

Despite the cheesy ad campaign, I still love their shirts. Besides, their stores are open late, so I can always pop in for a last minute wardrobe fixer.

A really great feel, made in the USA and a great variety of colors. The tees on www.bobroll.com are all printed on this brand.

made is usa. clean and simple. more expensive - but makes sense. if you're buying in bulk - its cheaper to use the website than visit a store. there is also an interesting article on the ceo of aa in the ny times you can read.

Clean lines, cozy clothes. Despite the near-pornographic advertising.

American Apparel eliminates everything deplorable about the fashion industry (sweatshops, logos, ill-fitted garments) and leaves the world with colorful, comfortable, fashionable basics essential for the foundation of any wardrobe.

I love American Apparel and continue to buy their stuff even though I feel like 1/2 of it falls apart eventually. Am I the only one this happens to? But I love the soft cotton, light weight fabrics, etc...

You are not the only one this happens to....American is good - but it DOES fall apart. Have you tried Alternative Apparel? I just got a couple of pieces from the Burnout collection - love, love, LOVE it! Very soft, and feather-weight material - I will wear this all summer long! They also have a baby doll gauzy sort of tunic-y top that I will buy in every color available....cute with shorts, jeans...poolside.

I'm a convert! I don't care for their sleazy photo spreads, but I love the creme long-sleeve T that I bought. It's lightweight, soft, and I love the serged hem and sleeves.
