This is the air pistol that will be used in both the pentathlon and air pistol competitions during the Olympic Games. Although the wooden handle makes it look a bit arcane, this pistol is equipped with an electronic trigger. And you may not know much about the shooting events, but you will gain a greater appreciation for how good you need to be when you watch these U.S. women in action: Emily Caruso, Elizabeth Callahan, Corey Cogdell, Kimberly Rhode, Beki Snyder, Brenda Shinn, Sandra Fong and Jamie Beyerle.
