None of us city folk believed that you could deep fry a Thanksgiving turkey. Or two of them. Or two of them and a free range chicken. And I'm quite sure nobody believed that with the cajun spices I used, that it would taste like some ethereal treat. But it did. So I'm whole heartedly recommending deep frying a turkey, with this setup. Although you should have a fire-marshall close by, it is well worth the effort and time saved (a 15 lb turkey was done in 48 minutes).
