I just listened to snipets of about five songs from this album on NPR's "Fresh Air". It made me want to go out and immediately get this album. I mean, not being Jewish, I don't really celebrate Hanukkah, but being an American I'd like to think of myself as being open to celebrating all holidays. At least that's that way I look at it.
The reason for me wanting the album was that I thought that the music was very good. It's a mix of traditional, rap, and world. Plus, unless it's something new and different, you can simply get burned out on most of the Christmas music that is played in department stores, when you're on hold, on the radio, etc. When does one hear any other type of seasonal music?
