Yeah, we know that Cafe Press stuff usually isn't that great. But it's a fine vinyl sticker, and for multiple reasons!
1. Produced by legendary bass-man Mike Watt, it's an image of his old friend and bandmate, the late D. Boon, with a quote from D that really sums up a lot of people's feelings on music.
2. Mike Watt is amazing, both as a musician and a human being. One of the hardest working musicians out there, he's usually got at least three projects going, plus gigging with the likes of Iggy & The Stooges and Sonic Youth, among others.
3. All proceeds go to Doctors Without Borders, which is one of the few non-profits that seems to just do what they do quietly, without insisting on a lot of fanfare and adulation for their efforts.
Win. Win. Win.
