    When I first heard for MAKU I was so excited about the design, the philosophy, the man behind it all. Alas, it was still early and word had not spread. Now you can get your MAKU fill at Velocity. What is Maku? Its a great line of outdoor teak furniture that looks amazing. Many people take plantation grown teak and coerce it into ungodly forms. It doesnt take any great amount of skill to make something ugly. Maku furniture looks wonderfully modern and robust enough to take a few storms on the patio - or indoors. The stuff is sustainably grown, classically assembled, well thought-out and just great! You have to check out the rest of the collection.
