The Last Lecture provides some very inspirational reading. Carnegie Melon professor Randy Pausch had been diagnosed with terminal cancer and was given very little remaining time to live. This is his "last lecture" that he gave to students, faculty, and family in which he discussed values, opportunity, and living life to the fullest. The video footage of the lecture became an online viral hit.

A book on how to live life...A truly inspirational book on how one man achieved all his childhood dreams before having to leave this world and his beautiful family too soon and too young...
The only thing I can say is...we should be thankful for Randy Pausch's Cancer...not for his family...but for the world...because we are blessed to be able to read such beautiful word which otherwise would have never been written.

Originally, computer science professor Randy Pausch merely intended to give what would literally be his last lecture at Carnegie Mellon University. Due to the overwhelmingly positive response from his audience and the humor-filled wisdom of his speech, he eventually was convinced to write this book with the help of Jeffrey Zaslow. Chronicling his last days on earth, Randy continues the lecture with a firm understanding of the waning days of his life and a renewed vigor precisely because of that understanding. Professor Pausch passed away on July 25, 2008, but he speaks to us still through the brilliance of "The Last Lecture". (via Amazon)
