I found Seghesio Zinfandel at a local wine shop in my old neighborhood. My best friend and I were having a Pinot vs Zin debate in the store and the owner gave us a recommendation for each variety. He challenged us to each drink them and to open our minds a little. We didn't change camps, but I fell in love with Seghesio Zins.
Now, I am a huge fan of red zinfandel wines. I love them. I order them when I'm at dinner with friends. I drink them when I'm relaxing with friends. A great Zin is proof on Earth that there is a higher power somewhere out there.
