This was an early birthday gift from my husband. I was actually eyeing two models by Canon (since I've always use Canon) but I have nothing to complain about with this gem. The VBR technology means there's no more blurred photos without the flash, it takes crisp and in-depth 10.2 mp photos, and the lens is perfect for our basic needs. This is the first D-SLR that I have actually owned and not borrowed so I can't wait to start using all the new features and functions. I've already photographed a wedding, a festival, and a small trip and the photos have been amazing. I can't wait to use it when we leave for Prague this weekend!

The hottest DSLR on the market right now, on my opinion. Nikon promises high quality, durability, and features for a lower price than Canon. If you're in the market for a nice DSLR, Nikon is a great choice!
