This movie is so good but it really freaked me out. I think this is the movie is where Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal met. BUT Meryl Streep is terrifying in it. (via amazon.com)

Although I was horrified by many parts of this movie, once I started watching I could not NOT watch it through to the end. "Rendition" is not only the title of the book, it is a modern-day reality of our post-9/11 world and much more than a mere cautionary tale. Read the book and/or see the movie to stay informed about the United States' war on terror and what is considered legal in within this context.
